As you trek to some of the most breathtaking waterfalls, you'll be captivated by the sheer power and grace of the cascading waters, set against a backdrop of verdant hills and mist-covered valleys. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Shillong
Upon arriving in Shillong in the morning, you'll have some time to settle into your accommodation. In the evening, the group will visit Shillong Peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The night will be spent in Shillong.
Day 2: Orientation and Exploration in Shillong
The day will begin with a visit to a training center for a briefing on defense forces. After the morning session, you'll explore the War Memorial and Museum in the afternoon. The day will conclude with an evening visit to the local market for some shopping and exploration. You will stay overnight in Shillong.
Day 3: Adventure in Cherrapunji
The third day is packed with adventure as you head to Cherrapunji. The morning will be dedicated to thrilling activities such as bungee jumping and zip-lining. Following the adventure, you will visit the Garden of Caves in the afternoon. The day will end with a visit to the stunning Nohkalikai Falls, where you will spend the night.
Day 4: Mawlongbna Adventures
On this day, you'll travel to Mawlongbna. The morning will be filled with exciting activities, including split rock and cliff jumping. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to interact with locals and immerse yourself in the culture of Mawlongbna. The evening will feature a cultural program showcasing local traditions, and you'll stay overnight in Mawlongbna.
Day 5: Dawki and Mawlynnong
The fifth day will start with a visit to the longest living root bridge in the morning. The afternoon will be spent exploring Mawlynnong, famously known as the cleanest village in Asia. The day will conclude with a serene boating experience on the river. You will spend the night in Shoongpdeng.
Day 6: Jowai and Surroundings
The morning of day six will be dedicated to exploring Phe Phe Falls. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Monolith Gardens. The group will then return to Shillong in the evening, where you'll have another chance to explore the local market. You'll spend your final night in Shillong.
Day 7: Departure from Shillong
On the last day, you'll visit the BSF Frontier HQ in the morning. The tour will officially end in the afternoon with your departure from Shillong.
